Who Is the Author / CEO of Ver-Ti

Discover the inspiring story of overcoming and success of Ligia Coelho, a devoted mother of two children, Adriano and Dalila, and a proud grandmother of three grandchildren. She became a mother at 16 and received a divine gift: her son Adriano, who has upper limb disabilities. Adriano embodies the true spirit of perseverance. Throughout her journey as a loving and dedicated mother, Ligia discovered her purpose: to find solutions for people with disabilities and other pathologies, promoting social inclusion, improving the quality of life, and ensuring that love and faith in God are present in every step of her journey.

Lígia Coelho is a multifaceted businesswoman, a Luso-Brazilian citizen, who began her entrepreneurial journey at the age of 11. With 38 years of experience in the business event production market, she is the CEO of the renowned L COELHO PRODUÇÕES, having collaborated with more than 517 multinational companies.

Having lived in Lisbon for 15 years, Ligia returned to Brazil in 2017 with the goal of expanding her business. She worked for 14 years at Securitas, a Swedish company in the international sector — and at Grupo Rodan, the largest event production group in the Mediterranean, where she served as Account Manager. These experiences gave her solid expertise in the international market.

Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to provide consulting for Drivetour, an urban mobility company, helping the company grow from zero to 135 thousand users and from zero to 1,300 drivers. Later, as Expansion Director at Ubiz Car, she led the company's entry into 18 Brazilian cities, with highlights including Espírito Santo, Pernambuco, São Paulo, and Minas Gerais.

In December 2024, Ligia decided to fully dedicate herself to her own company, VER-TI URBAN MOBILITY, an innovative startup in the field of technology and innovation. With AI and Assistive Technology as its foundation, VER-TI aims to shape the future of accessibility. Through the implementation of assistive technologies with voice and text commands to request app-based rides, the company benefits individuals with visual impairments, low vision, Parkinson's disease, autism, the elderly, illiterate individuals, and the deaf. Ligia is a true example of determination, compassion, and visionary leadership.

HOW VER-TI ARISE

The idea for VER-TI came up on 11/29/2022, around 3:30 am.

I was sleeping and I had a dream in which they gave me a white Braille sticker and told me that this would be the beginning of inclusive communication with the visually impaired and that I was supposed to stick it on the car doors, that a great idea would pop into my head.

And then, the insight came: an app with voice command. A tool that would transcend the barriers of vision and give a voice to those who dwell in darkness. But it wasn't just an app; it was a divine mission, a call to transform lives.

I initiated dialogues with visually impaired people, delving into the depths of their experiences. Each conversation was a portal to understand their struggles, their needs, their desires. And so, with clarity, I realized that I needed to act. The VER-TI project was born.

And after this conversation, I understood that I had to put into practice and carry out this great project called VER-TI.

VER-TI is an APP that does not exist in the world and that needed to be kept under lock and key.

So, I tried to patent this great idea, which is a gift from God to me and to the world!

Day after day, with love and perseverance, we build VER-TI. Every idea, every line of code, was a brick in the construction of our reality. And what did we discover? That VER-TI was not just for the visually impaired, but also for the elderly, for all of us.

Safety, inclusion, practicality — these were the pillars of our creation. And today, we rise beyond dreams. We are no longer a nightly echo, but a palpable reality. SEE-TI exists for you, for me, for everyone who longs for a world where darkness dissipates and the voice finds its way. 🌟🔍
